Welcome to DRA's Home on the Web!!

The Dunlap Recreation Association provides baseball, softball and basketball programs for kids in the Dunlap, IL area.  DRA is organized by volunteers and is completely funded by fees, donations, concessions and sponsorships.

House Baseball / Softball Registration is Open!!

The Dunlap Recreation Association would like to announce that registration is open for all House Baseball and Softball Programs.  As mentioned previously, we are now accepting credit card payments at all levels.  Please register promptly as program participation numbers drive schedule and facility constraints.  Summer is almost here!

12U House Baseball League Changes for 2012

The 2012 baseball season is just around the corner and we are pleased to announce that the Dunlap Recreation Association has partnered with Mossville, Rome, and Chillicothe to form a new 12-U House Majors Baseball League. This is being done in an effort to increase the number of opponents our teams will face and to provide our neighboring communities the opportunity to enjoy play in a house league that Dunlap has enjoyed for many years (as they are usually able to field only one or two teams). The new 12-U House Baseball League is still in the early stages of development with meetings scheduled to finalize rules, league by-laws, and team schedules.
 
The biggest change for players is that all teams participating in the new 12-U House Baseball League will require them to play in games hosted by other communities. This means that each team will play “away” games in nearby towns, and our league partners will play in Dunlap.
I want to stress that this is NOT a travel league. The rules for the new league will be very similar to the current house rules. Other than the away games, there are no other major changes planned.
