2020-2021 TRAVEL BASKETBALL TRYOUT INFORMATION

Tryouts for the 2020-2021 Dunlap Boy’s Travel Basketball season will be held on SUNDAY, October 25th AT DUNLAP VALLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL.  It is important for families to understand that this year’s travel program will require extensive traveling due to current Illinois restrictions.  The boys schedule will consist of two tournaments each month beginning in November through February.  The majority of tournaments will most likely be held at the Beyond the Baseline tournaments in Davenport, IA.  We may schedule a few tournaments (1-2 to provide exposure to different teams) in Indiana.  The weekend tournaments would be either on a Saturday or Sunday, but not normally both days.

BOYS TRYOUT DATE AND TIMES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

2nd Grade        11:00 am                     3rd Grade         12:15 pm

4th Grade         1:30 pm                       5th Grade         2:45 pm

6th Grade         4:00 pm

**PLAYERS WILL NEED TO WEAR MASK DURING TRYOUTS**

Any player interested in trying out for a travel basketball team MUST be pre-registered.  To register, go to dunlaprec.com and click on the “BOYS TRAVEL BASEKETBALL TRYOUT REGISTRATION” tab on the home page.

Interested coaching candidates must complete the “Coaches Application” located on the documents page and email it to the appropriate Program Director in order to be considered.  (Selected coaches will be contacted by the Program Director and must submit to a background check and complete online safety training (20-30 min) prior to the start of the season.)

**Open 2nd grade boys basketball position**

Teams will be announced via website on or around October 31st.
